Coaching for technical and creative professionals
Alongside my work as a motion designer and educator, I've often found myself drawn to another side of things.
As projects get bigger and more collaborative, a lot of what makes them go well has less to do with tools or talent, and more to do with people. How they communicate. How they handle tension. How cleanly they work together.
Most creative and technical people don't naturally go here. It can feel awkward, political, or hard to talk about cleanly.
But the strongest teams usually have a lot of things right in this area.
I've spent a lot of time in that world behind the scenes, in parallel with my main work, and I'm starting to open up that side of things more intentionally.
What this is
A one-to-one conversation, usually an hour. We take something real (a decision, a tension, a stuck feeling) and explore it together without rushing to fix it.
My role is to listen, notice patterns, and ask questions that help you see things more clearly. Sometimes that leads to a next step. Sometimes it's just useful to have thought out loud.
The kind of thing this is for
A decision you keep circling. A transition you're in the middle of. Something weighing on you that you haven't said out loud. A pattern you'd like to break. A conversation you're avoiding. A vague sense that something needs to change.
You don't need to know exactly what you want to talk about.

Practicalities
No. I'm not a licensed therapist. If clinical support seems more appropriate, I'll say so.
Yes. What you share stays between us.
These conversations aren't designed for crisis support. If you're in acute distress, I'll help you find more appropriate resources.
The introductory conversation is free. After that, we'll discuss what makes sense. I'm keeping rates low while I'm building this practice.
If you want a clinical diagnosis, treatment for a mental health condition, or someone to give you answers, other forms of support will serve you better.
I also run Tribe Men, a men's group in Portobello, Edinburgh—same intention of slowing down and being heard, in a circle. If that feels like a better fit than one-to-one, you can read more there.
