Hey everyone,
I've been working on a new script for After Effects that has drastically reduced the time I spend setting up 2.5D camera movements. With this tool, I can set up my scenes in just a second or two, saving me about six minutes every time I need to create these effects.
In this video, I’ll show you how this script simplifies the process of adding depth and movement to your projects. I'll walk you through using focus nulls for precise control over your 2D layers and setting up easy controls for zoom, aperture, and blur levels.
If you're interested in trying out the script, head over to jackvaughan.com/tools. I’m starting to document the various tools and scripts I use, and I’ll be adding more over time.
I’d love to hear your thoughts and any suggestions you might have for further improvements. If you have ideas for enhancing camera rigs, let’s discuss them!
Thanks for watching, and I hope you find this video helpful.
Cheers,
