Glide Certification Level 3

My Education line manager Cait Levin and I have been working a lot through Jan/Feb to launch Glide’s latest certification. If you don't know about Glide University you should check it out. Cait has done an amazing job at growing that since she took over as education lead.

It's been fantastic to be solely focused on the educational side of stuff for a while. 2023 at Glide was very busy. There were a ton of developments to the product and we had a lot of corresponding launches in the marketing team, so I found myself doing a lot of motion design, roundups and product launch videos. It was super fun!

But education videos definitely took a back seat in 2023, so it's great to be kicking off this year by getting back to my roots. In other words, digging deep into the product, learning from our experts, and translating as much as we can into concise documentation and videos.

It's also been really interesting improving our educational workflow through having more bandwidth on the education team. The basic workflow that we've done through this period that's new to me is:

The increase in speed has been truly impressive. Back in the day, when it was just me handling education, I would have to research the topic myself, come up with the use-cases, build the apps, generate the data, then film the tutorial and produce it, and also write all the documentation.
